The Brief / challenge
Trinity Church of England School LED Lighting installation Project
Trinitas Academy Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust located in the London Borough of Bexley, managing one secondary and five primary schools. The secondary school, Trinity Church of England School wanted to reduce their energy consumption and, at the same time, generally improve the lighting across its schools.
The Trust has been fixing lighting problems on an ad hoc basis and this approach was proving inconsistent and disruptive to the school’s activities.
The desire has been for some time to accelerate the replacement of its ageing fluorescent lighting with LED luminaires and widen the scope of the project to include all its schools.
The Trust had no available capital to fund the LED lighting, and other sources of potential funding, such as CIF bids or Salix, were also not available.
AFM (Asset Finance and Management) were able to assist with funding this project and worked in partnership with NCS Technology.
