The Solution

The existing ageing fluorescent lights within the building were failing and maintenance becoming expensive. NCS Technology provided Earlsmann Lighting LED light fittings across the site. In particular, Portsmouth non-corrosive LED light fittings in the Print areas to enhance light levels. Light fittings had to be non-UV emitting due to printing inks used in the process can cure if subjected to UV. PIR sensors were fitted in low use areas to maximise energy savings.

Energy use dropped by 183,677.76 Kwhs per year, saving approx. £18000 per year and 98 tons of CO2 per year.
